Digital Media Coordinator

About the role

The Digital Media Coordinator will support the Turbomachinery Laboratory’s digital presence and symposia operations. This role blends website management, content distribution, and event‑platform administration to ensure seamless online experiences for staff and symposium participants.

Key responsibilities

• Update and monitor performance of the Turbo Lab’s three websites, ensuring compliance, accessibility, and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide primary technical support for website functionality, publications, and content availability.
• Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager and Communications Department to create and optimize web pages.
• Manage distribution of symposium proceedings, coordinating with TAMU Library Services and Oaktrust for public access.
• Lead the build, configuration, and optimization of registration and program‑submission software, acting as the main contact for the Aventri event platform.
• Offer technical assistance for the look and feel of Aventri registrations and advise on platform improvements.
• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of a mobile app for symposium attendees.

Required profile

• Experience managing multiple websites and ensuring they meet accessibility standards.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with senior managers, communications staff, and library services.
• Ability to handle data formatting, repository management, and public‑facing content distribution.
