About the role
Soracom is looking for a motivated Customer Engagement Specialist to join its fast‑growing team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who enjoy prospecting, collaborating with sales and marketing, and turning leads into revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound phone and email outreach.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to qualify inbound leads.
- Use Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo to assess and score prospects.
- Identify prospect needs, spark interest, and hand qualified opportunities to sales representatives.
- Maintain lead flow sequences, track progress in Salesforce, and ensure smooth hand‑off to sales.
- Achieve or exceed monthly lead‑generation targets.
- Partner with internal teams and fellow specialists to build lead lists and run territory‑based campaigns.
Required profile
- Fluent English with strong written communication.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to grasp basic technical concepts related to IoT and cloud connectivity.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Comfortable connecting with prospects via phone and video calls.
- Self‑driven, autonomous, and maintains a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
