Corporate Controller

About the role

This full‑time Corporate Controller position is based in Dallas, Texas and reports directly to the CFO. The role leads a large corporate accounting team and a shared services center, overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements and the monthly close process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi‑location accounting organization of 50+ staff.
• Produce consolidated financial statements for multiple entities and ensure timely, accurate month‑end close.
• Deliver operational and KPI reporting to executive leadership.
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Support due‑diligence, acquisition accounting, purchase price allocation, and integration of new businesses.
• Design, enforce, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies across all locations.
• Collaborate with treasury to manage cash flow and payments.
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and senior executives on financial strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 5+ years in a controller or senior leadership role.
• Extensive experience in multi‑entity, multi‑location environments and acquisition integrations.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, especially business combinations (ASC 805) and intercompany eliminations.
