Construction Superintendent (Remote)

About the role

InnSpace is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead hotel renovation projects across the United States. Although the position is advertised as remote, the role requires extensive onsite presence, with the superintendent spending full weeks on hotel sites to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple hotel renovation projects concurrently, overseeing all phases from pre‑construction to close‑out.
• Provide bi‑weekly written reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain client relationships onsite, coordinating with hotel managers while the property remains partially operational.
• Forecast, recruit, and allocate labor and material resources to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Track project costs, develop detailed project and guest‑room displacement schedules, and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Create and manage site safety, logistics, and phasing plans.
• Lead weekly OAC meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Manage contracts, subcontractor relationships, and vendor invoices, ensuring scope alignment and legal compliance.
• Measure performance and identify opportunities for schedule and cost improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Field Project Manager or similar construction leadership role, preferably in hotel renovations.
• Ability to work onsite six to seven days a week and stay in a provided private hotel room.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects at different lifecycle stages.
• Willingness to travel to project locations in Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Missouri, and California.
