Community Manager – Greater Minneapolis

About the role

Greystar is looking for a Community Manager to support upcoming multifamily projects in the Greater Minneapolis area. This onsite position will oversee daily property operations, ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations, and help achieve financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by reviewing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Achieve targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends that could impact property performance.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property or community management.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
