About the role

The CEO‑in‑Training (CIT) program prepares high‑potential leaders to run an assisted‑living, independent‑living, or memory‑care community within Pinnacle Senior Living. Over a 3‑to‑6‑month salaried period, you will receive hands‑on experience in operations, clinical care, and business management under an experienced Executive Director/CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in immersive, on‑the‑job training across operational, care, and administrative functions.
• Shadow department heads and front‑line staff to understand daily community rhythms.
• Lead real‑time projects that drive measurable improvements in your host community.
• Study state regulations and senior‑living best practices to ensure compliance.
• Align leadership actions with Pinnacle’s core values and mission.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in any industry.
• Proven success building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Ability to inspire, set vision, and deliver measurable results.
• Willingness to obtain any required state licensing during the program.
• Open to relocation based on available opportunities.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (MBA, MHA or related field a plus); experience in operations, financial management or business development; entrepreneurial mindset and a heart for service.
