About the role

The CEO-in-Training (CIT) Program at Cornerstone prepares high‑performing leaders to take charge of a home health or hospice agency. Over a 3‑to‑6‑month salaried, full‑time period, you will work side‑by‑side with an experienced Executive Director/CEO, gaining hands‑on exposure to operations, clinical care, and business management.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through all operational functions to understand day‑to‑day agency activities.
• Shadow clinical and administrative teams to grasp the full scope of service delivery.
• Lead projects that address real‑time challenges within the host organization.
• Conduct self‑study on industry regulations, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Apply leadership principles that reflect Cornerstone’s core values.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven leadership experience with a track record of building successful teams.
• Demonstrated ability to create vision, drive results, and foster a strong culture.
• Willingness to obtain any required state licensing during the program.
• Open to relocation based on available opportunities.
