Business Development Manager – Sports Construction

Hellas, Inc., a TenCate company, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its sports construction and lighting solutions across the Las Vegas, Nevada territory and surrounding markets. The role is ideal for an entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, self‑directed environment and enjoys building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities in the assigned territory, focusing on large‑scale sports construction and lighting projects.
• Prospect, generate leads and manage the sales pipeline through proactive territory management.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and site visits with clients.
• Develop and execute territory‑specific business plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity and revenue projections.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations and Sales Leadership to ensure project success.
• Travel up to 75% of the time to meet clients, attend industry events and conduct site assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in sales, including prospecting, qualifying and closing new business.
• Experience in construction, sports, sports lighting or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
