Assurance Senior – Audit & Accounting

About the role

The Assurance Senior will lead the planning, execution, and finalization of audit engagements, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with regulatory standards. This role serves as the primary client contact for routine inquiries and contributes to complex audit reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap‑up.
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures, applying GAAP as required.
• Document, validate, test, and assess client internal control systems.
• Identify and communicate control improvements to reduce client risk.
• Supervise and review the work of audit staff.
• Interpret and apply SEC filings, PCAOB guidelines, and Section 404 requirements.
• Develop audit plans, apply GAAS, and exercise professional skepticism.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and PCAOB standards.
• Experience with internal control testing, including Section 404 audits.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and communicate findings clearly.
• Proven analytical skills to identify complex accounting issues.
