About the role
The Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all student‑facing functions at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, McGehee Campus. This senior role guides recruitment, retention, admissions, financial aid, and registration processes to support a diverse student body.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit and retain students for technical programs and Associate of Applied Science degrees, focusing on underrepresented and non‑traditional populations.
- Guide students through admissions and financial aid processes, including contracts with TAA, WIA, HDC, and other providers.
- Assist with course registration, including evening and night sessions, and maintain accurate student records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Enforce and monitor student services policies, support retention initiatives, and oversee related activities.
- Compile, analyze, and report student services data; conduct graduate and employer follow‑up surveys to assess program effectiveness.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in student services or higher‑education administration.
- Strong knowledge of admissions, financial aid, and student record management.
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting for student outcomes.
