Assistant/Associate Professor – Clinical Track, Physician Assistant Medicine

About the role

Tarleton State University’s Division of Health Sciences seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor on the Clinical‑Track for its new Physician Assistant Medicine program. The position is based in Stephenville, Texas, and will support both on‑campus and online instruction as the program launches its inaugural Master of Medical Science.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum for the Physician Assistant Medicine program.
• Teach didactic and clinical courses, supervising student clinical experiences.
• Participate in faculty governance, accreditation activities, and program assessment.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and conference presentations.
• Contribute to community outreach and service initiatives aligned with the university’s mission.

Required profile

• Doctor of Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent) and appropriate clinical credentials.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, curriculum development, and clinical supervision.
