Assistant Superintendent – Luxury Home Construction

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of high‑end residential projects across South Florida. Working directly with the Superintendent, you will help ensure each luxury home is built on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations, including scheduling, supervising subcontractors, and coordinating material deliveries.
• Conduct homeowner walk‑throughs, inspections, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA and state safety regulations and promoting good housekeeping practices.
• Monitor the installation and start‑up of mechanical systems and coordinate required inspections.
• Document daily site activities, decisions, and agreements in a comprehensive log.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues, providing practical solutions to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective time management.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with subcontractors, homeowners, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and state construction safety requirements.
• Familiarity with mechanical system installation and inspection processes.
• Proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications.
