About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a high‑rise, stabilized community of 400 units in Midtown Miami. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
- Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
- Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.
Required profile
- Experience with property‑management accounting and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Yardi or OneSite software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple financial transactions.
- Comfort communicating with residents, vendors, and legal parties.
