About the role
The Advance Practice Provider will support pediatric gastroenterology services in the Northwest Arkansas region, working within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) clinical teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assessment, diagnosis, and management for pediatric gastroenterology cases.
- Perform designated procedures and interventions under physician supervision.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and follow‑up care.
Required profile
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in pediatric gastroenterology or a related pediatric specialty.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
