Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Medical Physiology

About the role
The Department of Medical Physiology at Texas A&M University College of Medicine seeks three full‑time, 11‑month tenure‑track or tenured faculty members (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) to join its expanding neurophysiology group. Appointments begin in fall 2025 and are based in Bryan‑College Station.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent research program focused on cellular and subcellular mechanisms underlying neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with existing faculty on interdisciplinary projects spanning circuit‑level to systems‑level neuroscience.
- Contribute to graduate and medical education in cellular/synaptic neurophysiology, clinical neurology, and aerospace medicine.
- Secure external funding and publish high‑impact research findings.
Required profile
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in neurophysiology, neuroscience, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in cellular and subcellular investigations of neuronal function.
- Strong publication record and potential to obtain competitive research funding.
- Commitment to teaching and mentorship of graduate and medical students.
