Tenure-Track Associate/Full Professor – Animal & Range Science

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Associate or Full Professor on a tenure‑track basis to join the Department of Animal Science. The position focuses on Animal and Range Science, supporting teaching, research, and service missions at the main Stephenville campus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in animal and range science.
• Maintain an active, externally funded research program.
• Provide academic and departmental service, including committee work and student mentorship.
• Participate in campus initiatives and may serve as a Campus Security Authority.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Animal Science, Range Science, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications.
• Experience teaching at the university level and a commitment to student success.
• Eligibility for tenure‑track appointment and willingness to engage in service activities.
