Systems Administrator

About the role

The Systems Administrator will support Centerline Logistics’ IT environment across all sites and vessels. Based in Channelview, TX, you will act as the primary point of contact for the office while collaborating with a Seattle‑based team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and support long‑term IT strategies and implement systems following best practices.
• Deploy, manage, and improve hardware, software, applications, and network services.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance through audits, backups, restores, and troubleshooting.
• Support application development, performance analysis, and system upgrades.
• Document processes, configurations, and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge bases.
• Mentor helpdesk staff, provide Tier 2 support, and participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Occasionally travel to vessel locations, shipyards, and international sites as required.
