Social Media Content Creator (NYC)

About the role

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a hands‑on Social Media Content Creator to be the visual voice for a portfolio of its celebrated New York restaurants and rooftop venues. You will shoot, edit, and publish original photo and video content that showcases food, drinks, interiors, and guest experiences across Instagram and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Capture original photo and video on‑site, including dishes, cocktails, plating details, interiors, rooftop skylines, and authentic guest moments.
• Edit and produce short‑form videos (Reels, TikToks) and static images optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
• Develop and maintain a rolling content calendar in collaboration with the Hotel Marketing Team, ensuring each venue has a distinct visual identity.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, audio cycles, and content formats, adapting them to each venue’s personality.
• Document seasonal menus, chef features, cocktail programs, and special events as they happen.
• Monitor content performance, share insights, and refine creative approach based on data.
• Coordinate shoot timing with venue operations to minimize guest disruption.
• Occasionally support nightlife and entertainment activations within the broader Tao Group portfolio.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on social media content creation experience, preferably in food, dining, or lifestyle.
• Strong visual portfolio that makes food and spaces feel compelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams.
