Social and Content Lead

About the role

Newhouse is looking for a Social and Content Lead who will bring brands to life on social platforms. You will own the end‑to‑end content process – from strategy and calendar planning to shooting, editing, and publishing – while collaborating closely with clients and the influencer team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain social content calendars aligned with client objectives and platform nuances.
• Plan, shoot, and direct ad‑hoc video content on location at client offices, events, and activations.
• Edit raw footage into platform‑specific deliverables (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Stories) with appropriate color, sound, and captions.
• Write compelling captions and manage community interactions, including replies and escalations.
• Stay on top of platform trends, audio memes, and cultural moments, translating them into brand‑safe creative.
• Support the influencer team by identifying emerging talent, building creator lists, and assisting with outreach for active campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, and video production.
• Comfortable working on‑site with clients and talent, directing on camera.
• Ability to work quickly, iterate on feedback, and meet tight turnaround times.
• Strong understanding of social platform dynamics and emerging cultural trends.

• Video editing for short‑form platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Social media content creation and publishing across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Copywriting for short‑form captions and hooks.
