About the role
The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common spaces, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
- Maintain accurate work order records and ensure timely completion of routine upkeep across the community.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed to address specialized repairs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in building maintenance and mechanical work.
- Ability to diagnose defects, prioritize tasks, and execute repairs safely.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s maintenance procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, inspections, and vendor schedules.
