Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician to lead general facilities maintenance across its stores. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of commercial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, and food equipment.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs on time.
• Conduct training for store associates on equipment care and cleaning.
• Manage work orders, maintenance logs, expense vouchers, and weekly summaries.
• Ensure routine maintenance to maintain safety and proper functionality of facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR check.
• At least 1 year of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, adapt to changing demands, and work collaboratively.
