About the role
Half Magic Beauty is looking for a senior sales leader to own and expand its global retail distribution. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director of Sales will shape strategy, drive execution, and build a high‑performing field sales team in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead a global retail strategy that drives brand awareness and revenue across US and international markets.
- Oversee key accounts such as Ulta, Ulta MX, Mecca, and Sephora UK, with a primary focus on Ulta.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams on retail execution, budgeting, and annual target setting.
- Manage the Director of National Field Sales & Education and grow the sales organization as the business scales.
- Own the retail channel P&L, including sell‑in, sell‑through, forecasting, and promotional planning.
- Negotiate business terms and contracts with retail partners and support space and location strategy.
- Collaborate with Operations and Planning on inventory forecasting and fulfillment.
Required profile
- Proven commercial leader with a track record of sustainable retail growth in specialty beauty.
- Deep understanding of the Ulta retail model and experience building strong retailer relationships.
- Strategic thinker who can also roll up sleeves in a lean start‑up setting.
- Strong collaborative mindset, able to work with finance, marketing, and operations.
