Remote Healthcare Revenue Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a 100% remote Healthcare Revenue Accountant to join our finance team immediately. This contract position lasts 12+ months and supports multiple healthcare facilities across the United States, operating on CST business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate journal entries for healthcare revenue and expense accounts.
• Manage month‑end and quarter‑end close activities using a structured close calendar.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide controllership support to regional CFOs and finance teams.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff across multiple facilities.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of accounting experience in healthcare services (hospitals, surgery centers, physician practices).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi‑facility accounting and team leadership.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
