Ramp Agent – Full-Time (San Francisco)

About the role

McGee is looking for a motivated Ramp Agent to join its ground‑operations team at San Francisco International Airport. You will work outdoors in a fast‑paced environment, handling baggage, cargo and aircraft servicing while ensuring safety and on‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lift, load, unload and transport baggage, mail and cargo to and from aircraft.
• Sort, scan and route checked baggage according to destination, priority and transfer requirements.
• Receive inbound transfer baggage and deliver it to outbound flights within connection windows.
• Guide aircraft using hand signals and wing‑walking procedures.
• Service aircraft water and lavatory systems.
• Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders and tow tractors safely.
• Run baggage scanners and computer systems to ensure accurate routing.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and maintain clear communication with flight crews.
• Monitor weather conditions and follow safety protocols.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, physical capability test and criminal background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Operate ground equipment (tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors).
