Postdoctoral Research Associate – Cancer Epigenetics

About the role
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead projects aimed at discovering epigenetic and immuno‑epigenetic combination therapies that boost MHC‑I and MHC‑II gene expression, enhancing immune surveillance and anticancer efficacy. The role supports translational cancer‑prevention studies using advanced cell‑based and animal models.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate epigenetic combination treatments that up‑regulate antigen‑presentation pathways.
- Design and execute experiments with cell lines, primary cultures, 3D spheroid/organoid systems, and rodent tumor models.
- Perform molecular and immunological assays, including RNA‑seq, ChIP, Co‑IP, and immunoproteasome analyses.
- Conduct rodent tumor studies under IACUC‑approved protocols, including various injection routes.
- Develop and characterize antibodies through hybridoma screening, ELISA, and functional assays.
Required profile
- MD or PhD in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, pharmacology, molecular biology, or a related biomedical science.
- Experience with cancer biology, molecular biology, cell culture, and animal cancer models.
- Background in translational research, preferably with clinical relevance.
