About the role

The Department of Higher Education & Learning Technologies at East Texas A&M University is seeking an Open Rank Professor. The position may be at the Assistant Professor (tenure‑track), Associate Professor (tenured), or Professor (tenured) level, with a nine‑month appointment beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in an online environment.
• Implement and sustain significant, ongoing projects related to higher education and learning technologies.

Required profile

• Eligibility for tenure‑track or tenured appointment as defined by the department’s criteria.
• Completion of required application documents: cover letter, CV, three professional references, and transcripts (unofficial accepted with application, official upon offer).
• For international transcripts, translation and evaluation by an approved credential evaluator.
• Ability to meet immigration requirements; candidates requiring H‑1B sponsorship must be aware of recent fee and moratorium policies.
