Nurse – RX Fulfillment (Telehealth)

About the role

The Nurse – RX Fulfillment supports Teladoc Health’s virtual care platform by processing prescriptions and providing member assistance. You will work closely with providers, care teams, and external facilities to ensure timely, accurate medication fulfillment and high‑quality patient support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to members, providers, and care teams via phone, video, and written communication.
• Process prescriptions accurately and promptly following Teladoc protocols and prescribing guidelines.
• Provide empathetic member support, including conflict resolution and service recovery.
• Conduct health coaching for tobacco cessation.
• Maintain detailed case documentation in the electronic health record.
• Manage daily assignments to meet performance metrics and support post‑visit member needs.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to meet turnaround times and escalate complex situations as needed.
• Review laboratory results and follow escalation procedures.
• Uphold member confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other regulations.

Required profile

• BSN (preferred) with recent outpatient or urgent‑care experience.
• Experience in virtual or telehealth environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
• Strong knowledge of prescription medications and dosage calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Strong time‑management, organizational, and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Medication dosage calculation and prescription processing expertise.
