Maintenance Technician – Yardly Cypress

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s Yardly Cypress property. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and making repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established safety and risk‑management procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, inventory and documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite and respond to resident and property needs.
