Maintenance Technician – Sunnyvale

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential property in Sunnyvale meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds, common area, and amenity upkeep as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Eligibility for a quarterly bonus ranging from 5% to 8%.
• Strong industry knowledge is a plus.
