Maintenance Technician – RYE SoBo

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its RYE SoBo property in Denver. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety guidelines and local code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Good organizational skills for scheduling vendors and managing inventory.
• Willingness to participate in routine safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.
