Maintenance Technician – Aquatic Fourth Street

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Aquatic Fourth Street community in Berkeley. The role focuses on keeping the building, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and fully functional while delivering prompt service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with relatable hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
