Maintenance Supervisor – McAlpine Vista

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for McAlpine Vista ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors, contractors and the internal service team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose defects and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance execution and final inspection.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; coordinate ordering with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with various operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Knowledge of applicable safety standards, building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and applying cleanliness and appearance standards for residential communities.
• Strong inspection skills for evaluating work performed by internal staff and external vendors.
• Capability to manage inventory, order supplies and stay within budget constraints.
