Leasing Professional – The Mia Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for The Mia community is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through comprehensive leasing, marketing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit screening, background checks, preparing lease packages, and ensuring smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, verify readiness, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concession and special programs to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show unit quality by conducting daily inspections and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
