Leasing Professional – Student Living

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Wexler Student Living community. You will be responsible for attracting new residents, ensuring a smooth move‑in experience, and maintaining high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show units and community areas to Greystar’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Ability to greet and qualify prospects and conduct effective community tours.
• Strong attention to detail for processing applications and preparing lease documents.
• Proactive approach to inspecting units and coordinating with maintenance.
• Awareness of local market conditions and competitor activity.
