About the role
The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station is seeking a part‑time Laboratory Coordinator I to support the Ocean Engineering laboratory. The role ensures that lab spaces and equipment are safe, well‑maintained, and ready for ABET certification.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain Ocean Engineering lab spaces and ensure safety of all equipment.
- Keep accurate records of lab equipment maintenance, repairs, and related paperwork.
- Apply standards and assist with the ABET accreditation process.
- Prepare labs for certification audits and perform other assigned duties.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience.
- At least one year of experience in laboratory maintenance or a related role.
