About the role
PAYETTE is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer to contribute to the planning and design of complex technical buildings, including research, healthcare, and laboratory facilities. This position offers the chance to work on projects from initial concept through construction within a collaborative, award‑winning firm.
Key responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and detailed drawings for research, medical, and laboratory buildings.
- Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce physical models and visualizations to communicate design intent.
- Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
- At least one year of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Strong design, visualization, and written/ verbal communication skills.
- Excellent physical model‑building ability.
- Ability to work effectively on large teams and under tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Proficiency with Rhino.
