Investment Analyst / Associate – Renewable Infrastructure

About the role

This position supports the evaluation and execution of renewable energy infrastructure investments, focusing on solar and energy storage projects. The analyst works within the capital formation and finance team, collaborating closely with development, technical, and legal groups throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine detailed financial models to assess project economics and investment returns.
• Perform scenario and downside analyses to identify key risks and sensitivities.
• Assist in structuring and closing financing arrangements with equity and debt providers.
• Interface with financing counterparties and external advisors during diligence and closing.
• Track budgets, forecasts, and capital deployment across active projects.
• Monitor financial performance against expectations and support reporting at project and portfolio levels.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, and legal teams to align financial assumptions with execution timelines.
• Conduct market research on pricing dynamics, policy developments, and industry trends.
• Support lender and investor reporting, compliance tracking, and audit processes.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure finance, advisory, or investing.
• Exposure to energy or real‑asset investments is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modeling for project‑based investments.
• Understanding of capital structures and project financing.
• Familiarity with contracted revenue frameworks such as long‑term offtake agreements.
