Groundskeeper – Student Living Hub, Minneapolis

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of its student living community in Minneapolis. The role involves daily inspections, litter removal, lock changes, and supporting the service team to ensure a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect community grounds and common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests and assist make‑ready specialists during unit turnovers.
• Change locks per property policy and ensure pool gate safety compliance.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate relevant information.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and handling complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety and risk‑management policies.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
