About the role
The General Superintendent leads multiple construction projects for Loenbro, acting as the primary liaison between senior executives and on‑site teams. This senior role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate several construction sites across different locations.
- Mentor and supervise on‑site leaders, including project superintendents.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety policies, and quality standards.
- Manage material, equipment, and inspection schedules to support project timelines.
- Develop and maintain weekly master schedules and 3‑week look‑ahead plans.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers to generate and resolve RFIs.
- Prepare project documentation, work plans, and temporary facilities.
- Monitor labor, equipment, and material costs and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Required profile
- Proven experience supervising multiple construction projects and field teams.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Ability to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, executives, and on‑site personnel.
