Financial Analyst - Global R&D Controller

About the role

Join Siemens Healthcare Point of Care as a Global R&D Controller, supporting the financial planning, analysis and reporting for the R&D function. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights that guide strategic and tactical decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Guide analysis of financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and present financial reports, forecasts, budgets and variance analyses for R&D spend and capital projects.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS standards and coordinate audit activities.
• Drive performance optimisation for R&D and capital investment projects using data‑driven decision‑making.
• Prepare quarterly ASTAR and R&D tax compliance reports.
• Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual financial cadence for the POC R&D function.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to support business line activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 3‑5 years of progressive analytical and controlling experience, preferably in a technology or healthcare environment.
• Proven ability to work with complex financial data, including rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment analysis.
• Experience with IFRS reporting and audit coordination.
