Extruder Operator – 2nd Shift (4:30 pm – 5:00 am)

About the role

Shurtape Technologies is seeking an experienced Extruder Operator for the 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 5:00 am). You will run complex extruding and rewinding equipment, ensuring production orders are completed to specification while meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, changeover, and operate extruders and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in die changes and cleaning procedures.
• Calculate production requirements from work orders and follow the production schedule.
• Use precision measuring equipment to monitor product dimensions and detect irregularities.
• Communicate production issues to the Shift Manager and Team Leads and help remove barriers.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to work the 2nd shift hours and follow a structured production schedule.
• Strong attention to detail for detecting and correcting equipment irregularities.
• Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
