About the role
The Event Services Production Coordinator provides advanced technical and operational leadership for event production at the Sam Rayburn Student Center. Reporting to the Associate Director of Event Services, the coordinator serves as the primary on‑site production lead for campus and external client events.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and operate audio‑visual equipment, lighting rigs, and staging for assigned events.
- Configure room layouts and technical logistics to meet event specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with university departments, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of event plans.
- Maintain inventory of production equipment and troubleshoot technical issues during events.
- Document event production processes and provide post‑event reports.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in event production or a related technical field.
- Ability to work independently and lead on‑site production teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to comply with university policies and safety regulations.
