Director, Business Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead the operational framework of a fast‑growing technology organization in the United States. Reporting to executive leadership, you will shape AI‑powered strategies that drive efficiency, scalability and cross‑functional alignment across product, engineering, finance, HR and other teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth and scalability.
• Champion AI‑driven solutions, identifying automation and workflow optimization opportunities.
• Partner with executives to define an AI operations roadmap, including technology evaluation and governance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, operational metrics and SMART goals to ensure continuous improvement.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to align priorities and deliver strategic programs.
• Prepare and present operational updates, insights and recommendations to senior leadership and board members.
• Support budgeting, financial planning and resource management while seeking cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Oversee risk management, business continuity, vendor relationships, contract negotiations and compliance, including emerging AI governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management or operational leadership within a technology‑focused environment.
• Proven track record implementing or championing AI technologies, automation initiatives or generative AI tools.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross‑functional programs involving technology, product development and go‑to‑market initiatives.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑driven operational solutions and intelligent workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of operational management, KPI development and performance measurement.
• Ability to manage risk, vendor contracts and compliance frameworks.
