Cybersecurity Analyst – Threat Detection & Incident Response

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect Aaratech Inc.’s systems, networks and data from evolving cyber threats. The analyst will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities and support compliance with industry frameworks. This position is open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM platforms and other security monitoring tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyze system, application and network logs, and detect anomalies.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, support containment, remediation and recovery, and document findings.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments and coordinate patching and security updates with IT teams.
• Assist in implementing security policies, support compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and CIS frameworks, and participate in audits.
• Utilize security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel), EDR solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners.
• Continuously improve monitoring processes and threat‑detection capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms.
• Vulnerability scanning and management tools.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS security frameworks.
• Understanding of network security, threat detection and incident response processes.
