Corporate Controller

About the role

Giga is seeking a Corporate Controller to own the financial integrity of a fast‑growing AI infrastructure company. This senior accounting position will drive technical accounting, regulatory compliance, and support capital‑raising activities as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all technical accounting functions, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting, asset capitalization, and complex debt/equity instruments.
• Serve as the primary authority on US GAAP compliance, develop accounting policies, and ensure consistency across multiple entities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the existing accounting team, fostering a high‑output culture.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate external auditor relationships and lead the end‑to‑end annual audit.
• Partner with legal, operations, and executive leadership on project financing, M&A, and capital raises.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls framework (SOX‑ready) as the company prepares for potential liquidity events.
• Drive implementation and optimization of financial systems.
