About the role
The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of the Novi community at Jordan Valley Station, ensuring smooth property performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
- Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
- Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, discounts, conduct inspections, issue notices, and process evictions and late fees.
- Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multi‑family housing regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in property or community management within multifamily housing.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and produce accurate reports.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with vendors, residents, and owners.
