Community Manager – Mailman Post Property

About the role

The Community Manager for the Mailman Post property will oversee daily operations of a single‑family lease‑up community in Knightdale, NC. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, ensure financial targets are met, and maintain compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends that could affect the community’s performance.

Required profile

• Experience managing day‑to‑day operations of a multifamily or single‑family rental property.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other relevant housing regulations.
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate with vendors, and communicate effectively with owners and residents.
