About the role
The Calibration Engineer will join Bosch's North American team responsible for Engine Management Systems (EMS) in the two‑wheeler and powersports segment. Working closely with customers and Bosch system engineers, you will define performance criteria and adjust software to meet those targets while complying with emission regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand and document engine performance requirements.
- Act as the primary technical contact for calibration activities.
- Modify calibration labels within Bosch Engine Control software to achieve defined power, torque, and emissions goals.
- Utilize Bosch development and measurement tools such as ETAS INCA and ASCMO for testing and validation.
- Ensure calibrated solutions meet both customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Strong technical background in engine control or automotive calibration.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
- Ability to interpret performance specifications and translate them into software adjustments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting emission regulations.
