Associate/Full Professor – Academic Clinician in General Cardiology

About the role

The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, in partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, is recruiting academic clinicians for associate or full professor appointments in general cardiology on the non‑tenure track.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver didactic lectures and curriculum development for fellows, residents, medical students, and nursing staff.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to innovative teaching materials.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient coverage for general cardiology, electrophysiology, pulmonary hypertension, catheterization/interventional laboratory, heart failure/heart transplant, echocardiography, and fetal echocardiography across main and satellite sites.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, including productivity, quality improvement, and a regional referral base (required for full professor rank).
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and faculty mentorship.
