Associate Consultant

About the role

Kx Advisors is looking for an ambitious Associate Consultant to join its strategy team serving leading pharmaceutical, medical device, and health‑IT companies. The role is hybrid, based in our Washington, D.C. (or Boston) office, and offers direct exposure to senior leadership and client executives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive primary research, data collection, and fact‑gathering for client engagements.
• Analyze quantitative data using appropriate analytical frameworks.
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Develop and design creative, impactful client presentations.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to support portfolio strategy, market assessment, and commercial due diligence.

Required profile

• B.S. or B.A. from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• 0‑2 years of internship or project‑based experience in strategy consulting, market research, or related fields.
• Strong academic record and proven ability to work effectively in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a confident, ‘can‑do’ attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Strong MS Word capabilities.
